Toothpick Cactus (Stetsonia coryne)

Perfect example of the fascinating sculptural qualities of cacti. It's smooth, almost velvet-like stems are punctuated with extremely long, woody spines which range from black to white in colour. So strong are these spines that they are often picked off and used as toothpicks, earning it the highly appropriate name of the 'Toothpick Cactus'.

Toxicity: Non toxic - though please take into consideration spines around pets and children.
