This super cute desk buddy is called the Chamaedorea elegant and is commonly known as the Parlour Palm. It is a small palm species native to the rainforests in Southern Mexico and Guatemala and was a plant that proved popular with the Victorians. Chamaedorea elegans has beautiful bright green foliage and if they have sufficient light, small yellow flowers appear on mature plants.

CARE: Shade tolerant. Brighter, indirect sunlight will encourage flowering. Water once the soil begins to dry out and mist occasionally.
